*update 3/18/2011, see post below*

I'm trying to decide what to do about TPMS on set of Konig Unknowns. I am thinking of purchasing a used set of Mazda OEM TPMS because I left the other set in the stock wheels which are now being used for winter wheels.

-Has anyone had luck getting OEM TPMS to fit aftermarket wheels like Konigs?

-Does anyone have two sets of TPMS? One for winter and one for summer? Do they have to be re-programmed at the dealer every 6 months?

I'm having trouble figuring out what to do. Thanks

*Update*

Alright, I bit the bullet and bought a set of used Mazda TPMS off ebay. They fit on the konigs and the tire guys were able to put them on them without a problem.

So my question is now... how does the car recognize the new tpms sensors? Do I have to take the car to the dealer to get the new ones programmed?

IIRC, the TPMS should automatically communicate with the car sensors, and you don't need to return to the dealer to reprogram them.
