When Toyota and Mazda initially broke ground on a new joint venture plant in Alabama, Toyota stated that they would use the plant to build a US assembled Corolla. However, with car sales overall slipping, it seems Toyota has changed gears. Sales of the Corolla have slipped 5% so far this model year, with Toyota passenger car sales overall falling 8%. Toyota now plans to build an SUV in Alabama instead. Might it end up a possibility that Mazda and Toyota will share architecture on this new SUV, since Mazda has already planned to build a new SUV there?

Toyota said something below the size of RAV4, which is rather confusing since they already have the CHR. Maybe they'll build another SUV sharing the underpinnings of CX3.

Probably a 'tweener like the CX-4-I mean CX-30, that would slot between the CHR and Rav4. As if the world needs another generic Toyota CUV.

ian16th CX-4 exist in china with the same name or different name? Can you confirm
The CX-4 is a China Exclusive, it's one of those "Cross-over coupe" things which, strangely has a luxury audience (MBZ GLA, E, BMW X6... etc). Roughly the size of the CX-5. Along with a strange mix of design cues, the instrument cluster for example, uses the entry display used in the 3rd gen Mazda 3, CX3...
