Our beloved Mazda6 took a convincing first place in Estonian car sales chart for August. With 2/3 of sold Mazdas the 6 became the first midsize sedan to steal the pole position from compact cars in a very long time.
While the market for new cars dropped by 7% (compared to July); the Mazda sales were up 70%. Market leaders Peugeot and Toyota saw a 11% and 12% fall respectively.
In this year's top 10 Mazda rose to the 3-rd place superseding Volkswagen and Nissan which lost 22% and 13% of their sales volume. Other big losers were Opel (-35%); Volvo (sorry, Steve ;) ) and Audi (-36%) and finally Ford (-43%).

Good to see Mazda is goiing the right way. I curious how the 6 does it here in Holland. They said that there were a lot of pre-buyers but in the sell-lists I didn't see the 6

God, I was tired when I wrote that. I mean NO shares... <g>:sarc [/b][/quote]

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to buy MAZDA-shares.. 'Cause we all know what a superb car it is, it's a bit like 'acting with prescience'... :p
