None of the local shops have listings for a MazdaSpeed 6.

Can I just say I own a Mazda6 GT? Did those come with 17" rims? Then the offsets would be fine?

Yes, you can shop as if you were buying Winter tires / wheels for an '06 Mazda 6i or 6s.

Tires you'll probably be shooting for a 215/50/17 or a 225/45/17

you would actually want a thinner tire for the winter. So 225's would be way too big for winter driving (snow and slush).

While I agree 100% that thinner is better for winter. I don't think I would call 10mm more "way too big" :yesnod:

I had to specify wheels for a Mazdaspeed 6 since they were different from the regualar 6 wheels. Our calipers may not fit in a regualr 6 wheel.
