they dont stop selling them, they SELL OUT of them. people all over the country are buying them, and everyone buys 4 at a time, they go quick.
I was going to go down to South Bend this weekend to get a set of Dunlop Wintersports in 215 50 17 on Ford Fusion rims....and they don't have them amymore. Last week they did! I am SO PISSED! How can they stop selling them at the peak of snow tire season? [/b]

That's not a factor. Snow tires are usually built in June and July (which is why they sometimes run out - dealers pre-order snow tires based on last year's sales and this year's forecast). Goodyear didn't go on strike until October and I don't think any of the Dunlop plants are affected (but I could be wrong on that).Just so you know, Dunlop is on strike right now as well, so if they don't have Dunlops in stock, good luck getting more. I just got my Graspics yesterday and apparently I got lucky, most of their tires are not coming out of the factory at the moment.
