Hi!
Ive had my 2005 6i for 2 years now and I love it to death! But one thing that bothers me is that ever since ive had it, the tiptronic had required a downshift, even in 1st gear, before it could shift up. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this problem.

Thanks!!

Tiptronic's are very sensitive. The first thing I would do is drain the oil, flush it with the cheapest gearbox oil you can find that still meets the specs of the transmission, then fill it with a branded high quality oil. This way saves you some cash in the end since you are not using expensive oil to also flush the tranny.
