hello all;its great to be part of the mazda club community.My name is mally and i have a mazda6 ts 2litre deisel 143hp year 2006.This car,i believe ,is a high performance motor with 6 gears.The question is;does it have a chain timing belt.I would have thought it would.If not,at what mileage would i need to change it.At present mileage is 74.5k.many thanks

im not sure on the 2.0L engine, but all the others....2.3L, 3.0L and etc are timing chains. you could probably put your ear to the engine and tell. the chain would be a lil more noisy than a belt
