After my battery died my throttle body started acting up. The butterfly flap wouldn't respond. I changed the throttle body. It started working fine. However when I turn the car off and turned it back on it started acting up again. I disconnected the battery waited one minute and reconnected it. Everything seemed to work fine. Then I turned it off again and it started malfunctioning again. What's the deal? Any thoughts? 2006, Mazda 6 3.0 L.

So my 6 is having throttle body issues too. Did you have any success finding the solution?

Mine got fixed when I used a full can of throttle body cleaner to clean the tb And I used a can of air flow sensor cleaner to clean the air flow sensor. The CEL went off and has been good since. Suggest using the whole can on the TB and whatever amount you feel does the job on the air flow sensor.
