Anybody know how to remove this piece where the shift light is it’s got some sort of gunky stuff on/under it and I’m trying to clean it but I’ve scrubbed the hell out of the top of it I think the problem is underneath if not the can that piece be replaced? I can’t find out what it’s even called or how to just remove it It looks like it has water spots all over it but it’s not on the surface

I think it's called a "prindel". Unfortunately, the '6' doesn't have the L. Explanation is at 0:37 timestamp.

Someone did it before but I can't remember who and what the thread title is. I think he accidentally poured coffee.

Probably have to remove the whole center console. Use a flat plastic trim remover and lift up on the piece where the center console meets the cup holders. There’s a few more clips on either side of the shifter, gently lift up until the whole console comes out.
