My old car was SC Grand Prix and once the mods started one needed to change the thermostat out to a lower degree to keep the engine cooler. Since the car was SC and I am sure it is the same for a Turbo car, the hotter the engine the less efficent it would be (to a point). My tstat on my GP was 192 and changed it out to 180* drilled tstat and it help the motor run 10-15* cooler. Has anyone drilled out their tstat or purchased a cooler one?

Lowering the T-stat temp for better performance is an urban myth. You are more likely to have problems doing that. All the software is written for the 190 temps.
