I just test drove a Mazda 6 (the sport). I really like it, but there was a potential show stopper that I'm hoping someone here can help me with.
I'm 6 feet tall, so no giant. But, I could not adjust the rear view mirror to be anywhere near high enough. The only way I could see out the rear windshield was if I pulled the rear view mirror's manual tab into night mode. With the tab pushed in to day mode, all I could see in the rear view mirror was the back seat.
A web search doesn't pull up any complaints about the rear mirrors not being usable in this car. So, not a problem anyone else has seen? Which would imply maybe a one-off defect in just the car I looked at? But the mirror didn't appear broken and it had plenty of range of movement. What the heck? Do taller people just leave the mirror in night mode? Or, maybe upgrade to the auto-dimming mirror? I must be missing something, so any clues would be appreciated.
