Looking into getting some new wheels / tires for the summer and so far these are my number one choice (Tenzo Type-M v2, 18x8). I've searched around a bit but can't find a good answer to my question:

What is the best tire size for this wheel and our cars? Will the tire/wheel combo require a fender roll?

Also, would the stock tires fit on these and not look stupid? I've only got about 1k miles on them heh.

Another question is this: What do you guys think about the quality of these wheels vs the stockers? I love the looks but it seems like people on the net generally hate Tenzo. Should I continue looking?

I had to roll my rear with my setup. 18x7.5, I think my offset is 46? My tires are 225/40/18 and I am lowered.

Tenzo is a step up from XXR and rota

people don't like knock offs of more expensive brand wheels (work, volk, Weds, ect)

that said, Tenzo makes some pretty damn good budget wheels. F the haters if they don't like them.

Roll the rears and either run the 37 or 45 and the 235s.

Ps yes you could get away with running your stock tires. it is up to you.

I say put in the work and get the lower offset AND the 235s.
Concave face wheels and wide tires just look right at home on the speed!

So with a fender roll I could fit the 37's with a nice set of 235's? I'm up for it :)

I don't see why not.
People are running the MSRs 18x8 with a 35 offset and 235s.
Get the fenders rolled, maybe a degree of neg camber and post pics!

I wish I could find pics of these wheels with this offset on an MS6 or even MS3. Honestly I just went through a lot of the pics on the MSF "OFFICIAL AGGRESSIVE OFFSET" thread... definitely don't want my car to look like lots of cars in that thread. Though to be fair, lots of those are 8.5 and 9" wheels. I just dont want my wheels poking out the sides.

Well I think my final choice will be the +45 18x8's with my stock tires. When the time comes I will go wider, but not so sure how wide at this point. Thanks for the input everyone.

One more question :)

Bronze or black with machined face? I can't decide...

Damn that guy is serious about wheels :) I don't expect to be doing anything that will crack them in half, so I think I'm good.

Just ordered 18x8 Tenzo Type-M V2's (black with machined face) + Hankook V12 235/40/18 tires. Gonna roll my fenders in the mean time. Pics will come before April!
