The ground wire from the amp goes to the chassis. If you connect the ground wire from the amp to the sub, you're looping your ground. Find a bolt under the carpet, strip any paint around the hole, and voila.

Sorry bro, I jumped to conclusions. I used the bolt that holds the child seat connector because my amps are mounted up high.

yea... the posts that keep the seatbelts in place are good for grounding because they connect to the frame
