Striped my car today

My friend that does vinyl work stopped by my place today and striped my car for me :D

He came this morning for a trial fit, went home and made a few minor adjustments
cut some new decals and stuck them on for me...

I think it came out great,
(we are going to reshape the last part on the tail to follow the body line a little better)
I even threw his shop logo on the front for him

Anyway on to the photos....

Not my taste but doesn't look bad at all. Goes well with the color scheme that you have. You do have it on both sides right?
Damn, I usually hate stripes on a car, but yours is giving me a chubby.
SWWWEEEETTT!!!
damn that looks hot it goes well with the cf hood. your friend does nice work how much did it cost.
Looks good man, although I would've liked to see a thinner stripe that maybe extended to the fender?

Anyway, it looks great with the overall theme of the car dude.
excellent, I'm a fan on the stripes.
I like it but I would have done something different with the front of the stripe and the back of the stripe. Not sure what but maybe further up in the front and maybe more squared off in the back...not sure

looks good. not for me. but it does look good... not ricey AT ALL
If your buddy could do the stripe like in your photoshop in gun metal gray I might even be game to doing the stripe too.
thats AWESOME man, i like that look especially with the CF hood and black rims it just looks so good together
thats bad as hell man. Nice job. I like it alot.
I actually like the stripe. Its not too overdone and it fits nicely
Very nicel looken. It adds a custom look with out being to much.
Thanks Guys..
With the CF hood and the big black wheels I thought it needed a little something
(without being overbearing) to tie it all together so it completes the look a little more...

Now maybe my wife will stop telling me it looks like I got a hood out of the
junkyard and have not painted it yet :tear:

I bought the car with the hood and wheels already, so I had to add my own flair to it ;)

The pictures were taken in the warehouse where I work

you can contact him at [email protected] and see what it would
cost for him to mail you a set if you are interested.

We started with a stripe 1" wider than what is on there, but it looked too heavy..
we never tried thinner than this, but it might have looked good too

The stripe I photoshopped didn't look so good once I did it fullscale and placed it on the car...
It looked great from some angles, but looked horrible from other angles..

Looks like the overall response is good on the stripes. I think blue came up with a pretty nice design, he made my work easy. Due to the labor involved with installation on a job like this - would run about $200. If you just needed the vinyl and could install it yourself, then obviously price gets much cheaper.

Those photos do look bad ass in the warehouse too...
I dig that stripe, have one myself and at first wasn't too sure but I like it. Just for comparison I'll slap mine up.
