hey everyone i have a little problem. I attempted to hook up a 3.5mm aux jack to my stock system (How-to). I had everything hooked up before i put the dash back together and as soon as i turned the ignition to on something in the head unit started smoking and I quickly unplugged everything. I followed the how-to closely and i'm not really sure what i did wrong. i decided to give up on the mod and put everything back together without it. I got the radio in place and screwed it in and everything worked except it could not pick up a radio signal. I put it on scan and it would just go through the frequency's and not pick up anything. The thing is I unplugged it and put it back together again and it worked but after I screwed the vents back in I knocked the radio a little bit and it shut off. I also just found out this morning that it will not play CDs either. The track that it is on will blink until it skips to the next track and it will attempt to play about 10 seconds of the track and then skip to the next one and keep doing this until it reaches the end and goes back to 1. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?
