I've done Ortega and Palomar Mountain a few times in my car. Both can be fun when there aren't many cars. Don't go on weekend mornings because there are a lot of cops at both looking for motorcycles. Hwy 79 and Sunrise Hwy down here in San Diego are nice too. There are also fun spots out on the 94 by the Tecate border. I don't really drive any twists much more because I do it on my motorcycle.
