I recently was an idiot wasn't paying attention and backed straight into a parked car. I am definitely not proud of that but can't seem to find a straight answer on finding a new rear bumper. I have a mazdaspeed 6 but can't find a clear answer if I can just find a new bumper for a normal mazda 6 and put it on there. I already have an aftermarket exhaust that fits different anyways. The only bumper I can find for the speed 6 is about 400$ without even paint! Mazda 6 on the other hand is about 200.

It would mean the world if anyone could give some crucial info for this. Thank you very much.

if you have any Aftermarket OE replacement distributors around you, you can ask them for a remanufactured rear cvr for either model. much cheaper than OEM and fits pretty well. CAPA certified parts have really disapointed me in the past though. I Know the CAPA for the mazda 3 sport fits just as well as the oem REAR cvr. maybe the CAPA fits your 6 well also, I know the front sucks. But Hondas BMWs and most other makes and models the CAPAS suck. See if you have a Keystone Automotive or an Action Crash around you.

The rear bumper cover from a base 6 will be a direct bolt on for your MS6. However, you will have issues with the exhaust alignment. You will have to severely mangle the hangers on your mufflers and car to get this to fit. Personally, I would try to find a used bumper on car-part.com.

car-part.com is very helpful. i use it at work every week. for OEM parts a great web site is partsvoice.com, but you need an oem part number to locate your parts. its to locate new oem parts. if you get into a jam it tells you what dealer you need to go to, if its in stock anywhere.
