RacesEng Slammologi - it's a hybrid knob - stainless core w/ a delrin cover. During the hot summers down here, a metal knob will bake/burn your hands in a heartbeat. I transferred this over from my last car - a GTI, and got a new adapter kit from raceseng. Sits a bit lower than stock, and the heavy weight really smooths out the shifting.

The shift pattern plate is a JDM toyota part.

Joyfast Super Short from Rob at Tetsuya Garage. It left a gap between the bottom of the knob and top of the leather boot, so I designed a simple spacer in Tinkercad and had it 3D printed at a local UPS store. Works great!

Here is my JBR shift knob, it is good and has a nice throw but not a fan on of the handshake hold amd don't like holding the top. I have a Flossy ball shift knob on the way and will post pic when I get and give impressions.

Here's mine. Razo Sport Leather, 400g. It's hands down the best weighted shift knob on the market for under $90. $40 on Amazon to be exact. My second Razo shift knob and my first one outlasted the car it was on, that says a lot.

Here are three others I have. I tighted them all down as far as I could safely. No spacers in the shifter boot. Note the Flossy is going to need a nut to get straight.

Just stick a zip tie under the boot! Gotta say, though, the center console is a royal pain to take off though.

This is a "Voodoo" knob I got for $50 to my door. They have more refined/differently machined versions if you want to pay a bit more. I should have done this months ago, shifter feels less like a plastic walmart BB gun and more like something mechanical. This knob is counter-sunk big time so the shifts feel a bit shorter too.

I went to Lowes and tried to find a rubber donut to fill the gap, but didn't have much luck. Also for those of you using a metal knob, buy a baby sock to put over it on those hot summer days. Works perfect

Use a zip tie underneath the shift boot to keep the boot from sagging. Although its a royal pain to get the center console detached without fear of damaging something, its well worth the work.

Just picked up this shift knob for my 6....it's for looks only as I have an ATX, but it looks really nice.

it might be for looks per se...but do you use the manual shift mode ever? if you do, do you notice a difference? i pretty much only use the manual mode...

I have a similar Razo without red stitching for MTX. I love it

it's my absolute favorite knob, so much so that I found ways to put one in each of my cars since 2010 (miata, 3 240sx's . e36 m3 had to rethread the shifter)

I love the size and feel, however, wish it had more weight to it.
