Should I go for 2016 MY of Mazda 6 or wait for face-lifted 2017 MY

"New" as in "slightly" facelifted. I haven'' heard or read any significant changes to the car, so unless some of those little tweaks are absolutely necessary for you, I'd suggest looking at 2015 or 2016 models that will run you thousands less but be basically the exact same car.

Why are we letting this guy post ? He has been trying to pitch that click-n-bait site non-stop on multiple threads pretending to be a real poster by asking inane questions. So many of such "posters" these days on every car forum.

Mazda already confirmed they won't build a Mazdaspeed 6 based on the 3rd gen model.

While you're probably right, my job is to give him the benefit of the doubt until it's absolutely certain. I'd rather let a spammer post a handful of times to be 100% certain I'm not banning someone who just doesn't know how to "forum."

Only half of his 6 posts link to click bait, and 1 is a completely different site than the others, so I don't have just cause yet.

But thank you for paying attention to all these people, and please let me know if you spot any others - I can only watch so many posts on here at a time. :)

Came in here to post the same comment. I've noticed each of his posts cite spam sites, then he leaves no reply.
According to these rumors new Mazda 6 is about to hit the market. So I'm in a pinch, what to do. I have no problem with waiting but what if I don't like the final product of this new MAZDA 6.

Here's an easy way to check...

Vance15 are you a robot?

If he doesn't answer the question or responds with jibberish, then it's a fake profile.

Probably not a bot, but an actual person who owns many such junk sites and try to get as many google clicks as possible. It is an epidemic that is going on in many car forums. Toyotanation forum blocks their IP outright if they try to pitch an unrelated, unreliable site on more than one post.

Right, and normally these are easy to spot and get rid of, but Vance here has posted neither an unreliable or unrelated link so far. I'll be happy to ban his IP, just like all the others, if it comes to it.

traded my 2015 m6 year and half old. what a piece of crap.
poor weather seals, why are the sills and jambs wet when it rains
poor sound proofing too much tire noise crappiest tires on the market too much wind noise
worst brakes ive ever seen in my life warping rotors every 5k-7k miles, never ever had anyone touch rotors in previous 30 years just change the pads never an issue
most depressing boring interior

only good point, handles better than toyo honda scion and somewhat quieter from the engine
always kept vehicles 8-9 yrs and up to 190k couldnt take it any more of the m6r

2016 canyon rides smoother and quieter than a mazda and more practical
good luck

No, I'm not a robot. thank's for asking. Didn't know that posting few unconfirmed articles will cause such an uproar. These were posted before anything official was announced. I just believed it was true. Some of it actually was. How about that?
Dude I have like three posts. What's all the fuss about?
Thank you. I might be a lot of things but I'm not a spammer. Started few threads, and nothing more. It's like you said, content wasn't unrelated or unreliable. Some of it was rumors, other pure speculation, but it wasn't off topic.
Glad my intuition told me to wait, sir. Sorry you've been wrongly accused. Would you like this thread to stay open and that we get back on the subject at hand, or would you like me to close in in lieu of the complete de-railing?

Edit: If you'd like it to stay open, I'll clean up the bit of mess first.

No, you can close it. Al of us have came in contact with official info by now, so no need to have this thread open, and deal with all sorts of accusations. Thank you for having fate in me.
Vance15, if you're trying to defend yourself atleast cover your bases ! Your original post is you trying to sound legit by inquiring if you should buy a 16 Mazda 6 or wait for a 17 Mazda 6, but the internet is riddled with spammers like you trying to push people towards some noname/no credentials aggregator site that tries to either install malware on computers of unsuspecting folks or lives on google clicks.

Here's your post trying to publicize that click-n-bait site on a Ford forum with exactly 1 post on "spy pics" of 2018 Fusion, and the reaction from other members was as expected :

Ford Fusion getting serious refresh by the year 2018 - Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum - Blue Oval Forums

Here's you on a BMW forum no less posting a thread on "spy pics" of a Honda Odyssey ! Hilarious! Really ? A Honda Odyssey's spy pics on a bimmer forum ?!

New Honda Odyssey in for a fight with Pacifica Chrysler and Toyota Sienna!

Here's you on this very forum dedicated to Mazda6, and you opened a thread on some rumors about CX5

http://forum.mazda6club.com/other-cars/395162-mazda-cx-5-a.html

Here's you on a Subaru forum with more rumors :

NASIOC

There's more, but i rest my case. No points for guessing which site your very busy rumor mill was trying to spread !

Have a good weekend !

Haha! Damn!

He may not be a spam bot but he's definitely employed to throw spam/marketing posts into auto forums. Hence occupation....freelancer. He sits at home and gets paid by posts. I doubt he'll post here again since he likely doesn't own a Mazda 6 and has nothing to contribute. He now knows the next spam posts he submits will get him caught.
