I've got a few questions to clarify before doing the seafoam on my 6i with 111,xxx miles.

When only putting the seafoam in the fuel tank and brake booster vac. line, will I need to change the spark plugs and oil afterwards?

When putting it through the pcv vac line or whichever its called, will i need to do an oil change and spark plug change?

Also when seafoaming, should i let the car stall or not let it stall by doing the "big gulp" before removing the hose from the can.

Ive got my bottle and spark plugs, just need to know for sure if i put it in 1 way wether or not i do or do not have to change the oil and plugs. Sorry that these may sound very noobish, but Ive never used the seafoam and have done quite a bit of research about the process.

Also include any tips that you may feel are necessary for the extra guideance.

Thanks for the help.

while putting the product in the through the vacuum line, do not let the car stall. should be a 2 person job to make it easier...a high idle to keep it going is all you need, then once it's all in you can kill the engine for a bit.

i wouldn't put it into the fuel system until you are getting ready to do some driving. you don't NEED to change your oil, but i wouldn't recommend going a full cycle w/out it. the stuff works really well and you can get small amount in through the combustion chamber, but it won't kill anything to go a couple thousand after.

i never bothered with plugs because of seafoam. could be part of needed work, but just because you used seafoam doesn't mean your plugs are now dead.

I saw somewhere to put in a full can of seafoam in a full tank of gas. Yes I do alot of driving and really rack up mileage on the car. I average between 500 and 600 miles a week. Should I do this for the fuel system part?

"typically" you'd do 1/3 in the oil, 1/3 in the gas tank and the last 1/3 in the vacuum line.

drop it in with a full tank of gas, and i'd shoot to get your oil changed within a month at that mileage as well. again, you won't kill anything, but there are things in the product that weren't designed to be in the system for great lengths of time.
