I have a nasty scrape by aobve the rear left tire and i prefer not to get financially destroyed by the stealership to get it fixed, i have the correct paint code and im gonna order some touch up paint from Mazda 6 Touch-Up Paint. my question is what grit sand paper do you reccommend i use? and what clearcoat should i get? and if there is any technique or methods that i should know about when doing this. thank you

finest grit you can get. couple thousands. get it wet and sand it down lightly after the paint is dry and has set up. Then polish the spot and repeat till the paint is smooth and to you liking. DO NOT BE FORCEFUL!!!!! Keep the sandpaper wet and just a very light rub. Do at your own risk!!! Im a Detailer skilled in Pain Correction and I ABSOLUTELY hate fixing paint.
