Hi to all,
I have mazda 6 2.0 diesel RF7J with 121hp. My problem is this:

When i start the engine common rail pressure goes and stays at 1000-1200 bar. Desired pressure is 350 bar at idle. Engine runs terrible and sounds like hammer is kicking my pistons. When i hit throttle and rpm goes up to 2500-3000 then desired and actual pressure equalises at 600-700 bar. When i release throttle and rpm goes to 750 then actual pressure jumps right away to 1100 bar.

Can this be due to faulty SCV valve ? I reset fuel pump adaptation but no result. I cleaned SCV valve but no luck. Maybe i have to buy new one but i want to hear opinions because it is a relatively expensive part.

Also i test fuel pump, cranking pressure is 1400 bar

Thank you all in advance!!

Changed SCV valve, reset pump adaptation and pressure is as it should be. Smooth running engine again.
