i have a 2005 mazda 6 sport and have just fitted a reversing kit to it.
i need to know what colour the wire is i need to connect to the kit as the 2 pin plug going to the reversing lights on the tailgate are both black ?
i have found the main harness on the passenger side rear under the black door panel and wanted to connect the cable to there if there is no better place to connect it?

so if some one knows that colour that would be appreciated thanks

Forgive my ignorance, if you explain to me what the revesing kit is I am sure I can help you.
Do you need to know what color wire for +12volts when the car is in reverse? If so, the red/yellow wire.

Thanks for the reply it is a reversing sensor kit and it is the 12 v wire that feeds the reversing lights I need to know the colour of.
Do you know if that wire will be in the harness located behind the rear passenger door cover ?
