My experience with aftermarket remote starts is an immobilizer bypass or extra key in needed hidden in steering column, assuming same goes for my wifes 2010 6. Question is if I get the factory remote start will I need the same thing or is it plug and play. Trying to decide between a viper alarm/starter or factory. Viper is cheaper, but my wife wont use/need extra functions. If the oem is plug and play I would prefer the simplicity of that without mesing with the immobilizer system.
