Hey all.

Just got my Mazda6, but I wanted to buy some rear tire mud flaps, which, from what I read are not too expensive on the mazda accessories webpages.

I called my dealer, and he told me that, installed, they would be $85. That seems a bit high. How easy is it to just do it myself.

Thanks:sarc

A bit high!!!!!!!

Took me all of maybe ten minutes to put them on. Slip on a couple of clips on the fender lips, remove two push fastener and screw them on. It was freezing cold and my fingers were getting numb.

I think ten minutes sound much. I think you could do it in five.

85$ - that's horrendous. :sarc

Installed they are about 700 kr, but I think they were like 180 kr if you do the job yourself.

But dealer pricing is very tricky...the price at your dealer could be completely different...
