I did the air box mod today. I left the flapper in cause i didnt see how it would matter. Pulled the tube and the tray.
It sounds cool. I dont feel a power difference, didnt expect too.
After doing the mod I did somemore research on here. Lots to read, made my head hurt.
So heres the question,
Flapper=bad, pullit?
Tuba back in, leave it out, cover the hole?
Pull the resanitor? worth the time?

I know i could of found all this info if i searched more but theres alot of pages and im lazy.

This should be posted in the Newbie forum instead of Dyno.... but to answer your questions....

Definitely remove the resonator, it will sound a little louder and will make installing a CAI (which you'll want to do later once you get more into modding the car) a LOT easier.

Pull the flapper as well and remove the tuba, you want to clear out as many obstructions to airflow as possible.
