I have a set of bronze TE-37 , 18X7.5 with 40offset from my old car. It still has the 225/40 tire on it, but I am thinking about putting the stock 215/45 on it. Do you think I will have any problem for clear the brake caliper or rubbing? The car is not lowered, and probably never will.

I think bronze with white water pearl will give me a nice JDM look :)

Thanks for the help.

I'm thinkin' +40mm is not enough, but I'd wait for the smart folks to chime in. You might research the member wheels section to see what works and what doesn't.

These 2 are the closest I can find... I think my setup will be somehow narrower than these 2 right? So I guess I will be fine? Both are on 6 though.... No one has 40 offset on speed 6 yet :(

Here are mine:

Motegi DPK's, gunmetal, 19 x 8
+40 offset

225/35/19 toyo proxes 4 wrapped around them bad boys!!!

Eibach's, fenders rolled, no rubbing

Zenetti Five 19x8 40 offset
toyo proxes4 225/35/19
eibach
fender rolled completely
no rub

I just got those volks on my car. no rubbing or what so ever even with 200lbs of wheels and tires in the back. So I guess the 40mm offset does work.
