This is probably a noob question so humor me here.

I have a MS6 and I know the cars a a bit heavy. I want some new wheels (18's), but I want them to be able to take the abuse of MN roads which can be rough.

Are all rims going to be able to take the beating? What should I look for?(cast, forged, brands, anything will do)

Look for a wheel that is Forged or Semi-Solid Forged. They are both lightweight and strong. These type of wheels also tend to cost more, but you pay for what you get.

You can still bend a forged wheel. Tire air pressure, sidewall stiffness, properly fit tires for the rim width and sidewall height are all what help keep your rim from coming in contact with the road.
