[1993 Mazda Mx-6]

I was told I need a new distributor for my mx-6. Only problem is I don't have the kind of money everyone is wanting since I have to have the 2 plug distributor. I read something about a HEI-MOD was wondering if anyone could give me more information. I am also looking for a wiring diagram for the 1993 mazda mx-6. Any help would be highly welcomed. I was also told that it could just be a sensor in the distributor any ideas?????

if you have a bad distributor, its a safe bet you have the v6, and not 4 cyl. cause those v6's go through disty's like oil changes. lol. its very common. its really there only big flaw. cause the engine itself of great.

you can do the HEI mod. it fix's most of the bad disty's. here's a link on how to do it.

I bet ya that must have been the problem with my 94 Probe GT , that's when I traded it in for the 04 6

wouldnt be a surprise. lol. i still have a 92 probe gt turbo. along with a 90 626GT, a mtx 97 626 thats the same KL v6 as the probe/mx6. i dig my old mazda's. lol
