Guess you mean for airbag system. "Be real careful with this one". Be sure to disconnect battery. 1'st take out key, next remove negative battery cable to give time to bleed down any electric residual. Remove front bumper cover and grill. Sensor looks square and to be under a cover on the structure. Wire looks to come from left but no specific location. Proper air bag lite duration is about 6 second when key is turned on.

If you mean fuel pump shut off valve to prevent fuel leak after an accident, check your owners manual or Mazda on line. They usually are in trunk or behind pasenger side kick panel. Instructions will be posted as to reset--usually push button down to reset to the center device.

When i first start my 6. the airbag blinks 4 times, pauses, then 2 times. it does the three times, then stays on. i looked it up and code 42 is LH primary crash sensor Feed/Return Circuit Open. i do know that the steering wheel airbag, dash airbag, and the front seatbelt pretensioners went off and they were replaced. also the airbag computer in the center under the radio was replaced. i looked in the owners manual and it shows a drawing of the airbag system components and it shows that the primary crash sensors and the SAS module is either under the drivers seat or center console. i did take out the center console and it wasnt under there. i tried to look underneath the driver seat the best i could. if anyone has any knowledge of this please help.

This is from 07 M6 SM. Partially peal back floor covering between lower panel and ctr console on both drivers and passenger side. There is a bolt on pass and driver side that hold SAS module in place.
What got all this started, an accident? If so need to revisit every component that was worked on. By 42 code defination says open circuit.
They only mention one crash zone sensor, it's the one behind the bumper. If you want to get at the horn/air bag and check it's connector, here you go. Again disconnect battery neg cable and wait a few minutes before working on bag. There is a plug on left side behind steering wheel, under is a bolt-remove. Bag should release reveiling connectors. Use a small flat head screw driver to pry release inside cover for connector. Hard to describe here, just look it over and figure it out. Make sure no pins are pushed back and reassemble. Hope some of this helps.
