What tire plus sizing will work on the factory MS6 wheels? Is 245/40/18 OK or will you have clearance issues? Want to keep the correct diameter on the tire. Thanks.
Interesting! I didn't think they'd rub at all. What is the stock offset, +55? So the +7 will make them rub maybe?I am running 225/45r18 g-Force KDW's on a 7.5 in. rim w/ +48 offset and am rubbing my rear fenders while accelerating or hitting bumps with people in the back seat, and I have no drop. I plan on rolling the rear fenders whenever I can find a bat small enough to fit in b/w the fenders and tire. I was planning on dropping to car also but now I am very hesitant.

225/40/18-92V Nitto NT-555 on 18x7.5 MB Blast with 45mm offset.in addtion to improper rim width, you'll have trouble finding proper load rating in 225/40/18.

Can someone explain why the load rating in a 225/40/18 would be a problem?225/40/18-92V Nitto NT-555 on 18x7.5 MB Blast with 45mm offset.
No rubbing, no rolling.

OEM tires have a 93 load rating for the MS6.Can someone explain why the load rating in a 225/40/18 would be a problem?
I am probably going to get that size with +42 offset. I wonder if I'll have any issues with rubbing.

Ah, cool. What is the typical load rating on a 225/40/18 Tire?OEM tires have a 93 load rating for the MS6.
Replacement tires need a minimum load rating of 91.
The higher, the better.

I'm pretty sure a 225 with a +42 offset will rub... There is a tire fitment thread in the tire section...Can someone explain why the load rating in a 225/40/18 would be a problem?
