Hello everyone i bought 2003 6s off my buddy we need to replace the OCV and the timing chain guide.We have the new parts can anyone tell me how and the easiest way to replace the guid we already have ocv out but we just wanted to see how to exactly how to do the job thanks

:eek:To change the front and rear ocv's you have to remove the valve covers. To change the timing chain tensioners you have to remove the engine from the car and then remove the timing chain cover (the entire passenger end of the motor). See the attached pic. The rear timing chain, tensioner and OCV are removed.

What's the best way to remove the engine, from top or bottom?

Out the bottom. Check out the "DIY Engine Replacement" thread in the "3.0 Sticky" section. I'm changing my engine right now. The only thing I did different is when I removed the entire front subframe I left the steering rack attached to it and just disconnected the steering column at the joint just above the carpet inside.
