After adding a new system I have a hum. Let me start by saying having began my career in the Air Force building bombs and missiles I am pretty good at wiring. But I am a novice at the level of installation that I am going to soon have completed.
Anyway, I have gone through the entire system (new amps, EQ & sub) and have found the hum to be coming from the exterior fuse assembly on my equalizer. I ran to Radio Shack and replaced the assy with a new one. I have also reattached the ground in several places. I have completely moved the power , ground and remote wires away from any speaker wires. And the sound is still there.
Any ideas out there? I have cut the wires on the Eq and will have a biatch of a time returning it. I just want to get the hum out.

Also I searched a few different ways and found no info on this site to help me in finding a solution.

( I found that you can buy ground loop isolators to fix this problem. Hooked it up and the hum is gone. :D )
