Plastic Undercar cover

I hit an unavoidable puddle during a flash rain storm on the interstate at about 55 mph, and pulled over at the next exit where I heard noise from the undercarriage. Looks like the puddle (or really big puddle) hit the plastic undertray and pulled back the passenger side to where it was hanging. I pulled the rest off so the car was driveable, and no apparent damage to engine or front end, but looking for advice as to whether it is safe to drive without that cover until a replacement part comes in.[

Thoughts?

You'll be fine to drive until you get a replacement. The plastic underbody is primarily for reduced air resistance and a slight protection from rocks hitting crap under there.
