Anybody else have this problem?

It's impossible to read. The temperature section of the display is messed up too.

Is this common? Is there a quick fix?

If it's too much I don't want to bother with it, but on Saab's the display will sometimes go pixelated like this and you just remove it and send it off to have it rebuilt for like $60. Is there a service similar to this for Mazda?

Sorry, if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find anything on it. Thanks in advance!

That sucks. What a shame. Put some tape over it so you can't see it.

Mine was bad for a long time and finally got the bug to fix it . I scored on ebay for the display and upper glove box , mine was broke so it was nice finding the complete package. I payed more than what I have seen others get them for but there not listed alot for 03-05 models. So far so good on mine , it's nice to be able to use it again. "HELLO" :)

there was one on ebay last night that included the storage box. the seller listed it for like 03-08's. but the plug was most def a 06-08 set up, and i even emailed the seller. but he never changed it. thing had like 20 bid's before it ended last night. i felt bad for the dumbass that bought it cause i know it was a 03-05 owner. but thats what they get for not doing the research into it i guess.
