Yes, for a 2.3 liter with a four-wheel-drive! And wagon. A sedan with 2.3 costs about 342 000 kr. How much did your cost?

217000 with trail hitch (removable, didn't have normal); engine heater and chrome tailpipes. They didn't have any of that in stock when the car arrived, thus it will mounted on the 1000km service.

I pay 227000 swedish kronor for my 2.0 hatch. But that includes: CD, Winter tyres with alloys, engine heater/electric outlet indoors, metallic paint, trailer hitch and a child seat.

Yeah we have winter tyres for our as well.. on what seems to be some strange brand 15" alu's. Well it's better then wheel covers at least. It says "Liscensed by BBS" on a little paper in the boxes for the center covers.

No, I understand that. 217000 is about the base price without any extras. My 2.0 started at 199500 before I started adding stuff...

I pay 208900:- swedish kronor for:
2.3 sport hatch with 2 chrome exhaust pipes and mica metallic paint.
That's what it cost when you don't need to trade in an old car (good 16100:- under list price). :D :p

Yes, you get the price "cut off". But: when you trade in an old car (and if it's a Mazda) you get good money for that instead. That's the way they discount when you trade in old cars.

Anyway, there is no good car deal. Only bad ones.

But if you buy a Mazda6, at least you get some fun for the money!:D

I have done som good affairs actually:
Bought a new Toyota corolla for 108000 SEK
Traded that in for a Toyota camry an got 115000SEK, the new camry 165000SEK
I drove that Camry in 4 years and 90000km then traded that one in for a new Toyota Avensis and got 118000SEK, The new Avensis 165000SEK
Due to a lot of problem I got a new Avensis again after two years with a additional pay of 25000SEK.
Finally I sold the second Avensis for 140000SEK after one year.

I have been driving new cars in 9 years and 18000km for a total value loss of 90000SEK (10000US$)!

This serie of trading i really like but in many cases as you say there is no good car deals.

Now I bought the Mazda6 primarily based on the good look. :D
