I picked up my 2003 Speed Yellow V6 last year, with 120k miles on it. This has been the first car that I've owned, and I really have enjoyed spending time learning more about it and working on it. The only modification that I didn't do myself was the window tint. It was completely stock when I purchased it, here is what it looked like.

Since then, These are the modifications I've done to it

April 2014 6 Of the Month Winner

Exterior
- Removed door guards
- Removed pinstripes
- Removed door "V6" badges
- Debadged "6" from "Mazda6" and added "Atenza"
- Tinted rear reflectors
- Smoke side markers w/ orange LEDs
- True JDM tail lights
- Painted sport grille
- HD Lip
- Plastidipped rear bumper
- 35% Tint all around

Interior
- Mazdaspeed6 door sills
- White LED swap (domes, glove box, vanity mirrors, doors)
- Red LED strips in trunk
- Red LED strips in footwells

Under the Hood
- AEM short ram intake
- Water pump tensioner bypass
- Painted engine cover & fuse box

Exterior Lighting
- Kensun 5000k low beams
- Kensun 5000k fog lights
- Custom lower mesh LED DRLs
- White LEDs on license plate & amber LEDs in side markers
- Brake light mod
- Reverse light switch

Audio
- Sylfex Auxmod (aux input on stock stereo)
- Infinity basslink powered subwoofer

Suspension
- Painted calipers red
- Racing Beat springs
- ASA AR1 18x7.5 +48 Wheels w/ Kumho Ecsta PA31 215/45 w/ locking lugs

And now it looks like this:

Thanks man! Next week I'm going to be putting in a black powdercoated mesh grille for the bottom, as well as replacing my fog lights, and throwing on some mazdaspeed6 door sills. Oh by the way, you should vote for 6OTM this month! :)
Sounds awesome! Do you know if there are any threads for how to install Speed6 sills? I'd love to do that to mine. Standard sills just don't have the same effect. And I'll definitely vote for yours :D

I don't think any modification is required, they just pull up and out!

Here's a video of someone showing how to install a subwoofer, and he remove the piece at 0:53 haha

By the way, welcome to the club! :)
