I know that it is a VAD malfunction code. About two weeks ago I changed a driving light bulb and I had to remove the air filter box. I disconnected the green connector at VAD solenoid, engine was off but battery still connected. I reconnected the green connector before I started the engine.

Did that cause a "p1410" code? Can I clear codes by myself without any special equipments? Thanks for replies!

If my memory serves me right, that's a pending code and won't throw a light.

If you're afraid you set off a code, disconnect the neg (not the one with the red cap) terminal of the battery, open the driver side door, wait 5 min, reconnect the battery. Doing so will reset the engine compueter (and make it forget any error codes it may have stored).
