Recently my mazda 6 sport (MT V6) has been acting funky shop says its throttlebody but code read P0345 indicating a issue with ignition timing sensors, Ive since replaced the bank 2 camshaft position sensor to find the code persists. My next suspect was the crankshaft position sensor upon removal I spotted a flake of metal stuck to the magnet on the sensor, I replaced the sensor and changed the oil, no flakes in the oil cut open the filter no metal there either should I start my car and see if the CEL is still on or call it quits because of the metal, if so where did it come from? I have had this engine replaced once before chance the flake was stuck on the oil pan which my shop reused? I mean they said the problem was the throttlebody and its since been replaced with no luck and im still at square one any input? not sure who to trust at this point im gonna do future repairs myself
