It was only a matter of time before the first rattle would surface.
Mine is the overhead sunglass storage door. It's a God awful noise,
and after trying to silence it with foam (to no avail) I'm about ready
to hit it really hard with a hammer!

Back to the drawing board on making this obnoxious sound DIE! :cursing:

Perhaps I'll silicone the frakkin' thing shut!

Do you have anything in there? Some sun glasses are too big for the holder.

What happens when you leave the sucker open?

I thought of that... There's nothing in there, and it still rattles from the front right corner of the door when closed. If I leave it open there's no rattle, BUT that's not acceptable.

I'm trying some different things to stop it. Down side is it's not ALWAYS rattling.
I have to get the RPMs up to about 2800, in gear, before it starts making noise.
The TT Front Motor Mount is the culprit, as the extra vibration wouldn't be there without it. Fortunately I have previously installed a temporary fix from Rockford Fosgate! Turn it up, and the noise goes away! lol

Actually, I've used a small piece if rubber door weatherstripping solved the problem.

How did you remove it to get the stripping on there, i have the same prob.
