So I have been doing lots of reading on this cuz I own an 06 MS6 and I want to put my old amp/subs from my old car in this one. What I was planning on was to tap into the amp under the seat for the RCAs, run a new 4 or 2 guage from batt to amp and a 4 guage ground.

My question is to those of you who have run similar setups - How do you like it?

I can only speculate on this since I have always used aftermarket HUs and Im kinda hesitant on this setup. Cuz I know the sound quality wont be as good as if I was to run the RCAs from a better HU.

Any advice on this would be very welcomed, I've done so many searches about this subject and there are so many posts about this already. I just want opinions.

If you are talking about just running subwoofers off of the preamp output from bose HU you would be hard pressed to tell a difference between the Bose HU output (about 2v) and your standard HU RCA output.
