I do have to say, first I like the seats. I think they are pretty nice and would look good in the 6.... but for the color, its a tough one. I really like the flashy, standing out color of the red, but I just dont think it would match up in your car well... I would vote for black specially since your car is a darker color and you have color matching going on inside to.

Thanks for the "Congrats"! Honestly I was shocked by it to tell the truth,but it DOES feel good!
All I ever wanted from my car other than to enjoy driving it was for a few others to appreciate all the simple,subtle mods I did and appreciate that this is NOT a racecar so I don't care if it's the fastest one or not!

Since your car is a showcar id go for the leather 2-tone. But if the mindset is really for any of the seats above Id say go for the red since your theme is red a steel grey from what I can tell.

Yea,I liked the black/grey ones myself,so I am torn between those and having 5280 put in a custom Katzkin 2-tone Leather setup for about $800.00 cheaper and it would include the backseats too. I am worried about doing the Mazdaspeed seats cause it will cost like $1800.00 and that WON'T include the backseats so I'd still have to have something done to those to match.
I am also thinking of Trading in our 6 wagon for a Speed 3 since I bought the wife a Toyota 4-runner right before I left for Vegas and she hasn't touched the car since. She said she always liked the 3's better anyway so it might be a win-win situation. She just said to me" I probably wouldn't get to drive the speed3 thopugh huh mike" She knows me well eh?...lol

Thanks,I still haven't completely made up my mind yet,so I am weighing the options and I greatly want the input from others with the same 6 mindset! Thanks! If I get the ones in the pics,it leaves the backseats to deal with still.

Leather Seats Sounds NICE!! I bought Two-tone seat (Yellow & Black) from www.leatherseats.com

THe black and grey ones would look good, but have you had a chance to try them out for comfort? I'd hate to drop $$ on a seat, then hate the way it feels.

It all has to tie in together as a whole.

Thanks for the opinion,but YES It is a SHOWCAR,It is about two years old almost and has just hit 20,000 miles. It sits in the garage except to go to shows,shops,or special occassions. The most It has been driven was when I took it to SEMA last month. I put 2,000miles on it on that trip alone.
The only reason I haven't put those seats in already is because then I still have to figure out what to do with the backseats whereas I could go with a full new KATZKIN interior front and Back for less $$$.

WTF DOES "CATCHUP TO" MEAN???? EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT MODS,NOT NECESSARILY BETTER ONES OR EVEN THE SAME GOAL WITH THEM. Some of the guys named(who I have spoken with at length) have other people footing the bill for alot of there stuff too! Private parties that aren't affiliated with shops(or sponsors) building their own showcars aren't "catching up" to anyone. It's not a contest between them,but only people who compete against one another at the shows. Here on this board we are all supposed to be a part of the same Team/Family since we all have the same love for the car!

Why not compete against the members on here as well? I mean, if you've got mediocre 6's around where you're at, it's not much to compete against, eh? The scene's different everywhere.

Fuck if I care man, you're reacting in a total wrong way than what I'm aiming for so, compete against your local 6's. It's just funny to me I guess. I'd rather be on top of the entire scene than just my general "area"

If I had the money, I'd do just that. I've done what I can with what I can, I'd say I've done a good job, but it's just in my point of view of "competition" I guess. Everyone has their standards. We now know where yours have been set.
