Some guy at the parts store said something about spark plug seals? Does anyone know anything about these? My motor is clean and dry. The spark plug where it fires was dry. The boot had oil around it and when we pulled the spark plug out I am assuming that the oil fell down into the hole. I have vaccuumed that out.

Simple as pie to replace the gasket. Eat a piece of pie afterwards too :)

My car started surging on me not long ago. I just got spark plugs but when taking one of them out there was all kinds of oil in the chamber!
What do I do?!?!?!?!
Which plug exactly you are talking about?
I had the same thing with a front left plug. One guy at the shop told me I have to replace all the spark plugs gaskets. He never tried to check some other plugs - of course they were dry.
Took the car to other guy to change the plugs. Turned out, the last time I changed oil at Walmart, they spilled a little oil.

Changed the plugs and the valve cover gaskets....still surging. My Mustang owning boyfriend is appauled that his Mustang is part Mazda....LMAO!!!!

I have also put B-12 Chemtool in my gas tank and it seemed to help some...not enough. What about a fuel injector? I am not too familiar with them since I learned to work on cars with my little Volkswagon Scirocco, which I miss dearly! Wish I still had it or could find another one! They are easier to work on.

But could this possibly fuel injectors? I was told there is no fuel filter so I am trying everything before spending over $420 for a new fuel pump.

believe me. it was hard finding a fully loaded lapis blue MTX. i actually wanted a v6 to start with, but gave up after a few months searching, and found the mtx 2.3 i have now. figured it was close enough. and havent really regretted it in the 5 years ive had it.

You just crank-up the color saturation on Photoshop. Makes any Mazda look like a Honda.

When looking from the front of the car it is the 2nd one from the left. The engine light never comes on but I did have someone check for code but doesn't show any at all. I am putting more B-12 Chemtool in the gas today and see if that does any more good at all. If the coils were going bad wouldn't a code come up or engine light come on?
