What is better.... First pass efficiency or multipass?

the Bosch Filter claim 98% first pass
the Mobil filter claim 99.4% multi pass

The mobil is double the price of the Bosch

Asking which oil filter is better is like asking which oil brand is the best. You'll get 100 different answers.

I always tell people to use whatever other than Fram. I personally use K&N.

1. your link is to mazda6tech, a serach on mazda6club wouldn't have turn that up directly

2. I did search, did not find the answer I was looking for

3. I was mainly asking about First pass vs Multi pass efficiency which the article did not discuss. I was just using the Bosch and Mobil 1 as examples

P.S. the article didn't even mention Bosch filter at all...?

I dont think anyone who actually has used search yells at newbies to search cuz the search sux ass.

But ya, there doesnt seem to be any real clear cut way to see which filter is the best. If someone is bored and has money to burn, they could do a few experiments for us....

You might check bob the oil guys place out, he has tons of info on oil.
