OK, I've searched and didn't find much of anything. A few brief mentions of them but no solid info I can use

I've had a Greddy on my IS300
And an AMW on my GTO
Both did what they are intended for to keet oil contaminents out of the intake.

I can see how this would help a turbo engine like our Mazda

Pics would be great and an explanation as to where your connections were found to hook one of these up properly.

mine acts as a cc breather with no intake return as well. for a closed catchcan, you need to hook up the return line back to the intake (where i have it capped).

Not sure why my search didn't find that but anyway,
I'm interested in using a closed type catch can which filters out the oil contaminents and retains all of the stock vacum references. I hesitate to change my system to a breather type vs. a vacum pull from the intake.

I have to become more familiar with my engine compartment before I do this mod.
Your post is a great start for me though.....very informative.
