Great link here to a PDF chart:

Octane chart

so if you fill 1/3 of your tank with race fuel you can make the 93 octane the car requires?

so $30 in 91 octane and $30 in Race fuel and you're all set.

There are a few stations in my area that sell race gas. I might try filling up a tank with it sometime in the future for shits and giggles. :burnout: :burnout:

I think it's easier to go to home depot, buy a gallon of xylene or toluene for 14-16 bucks. 9 gallons of 91 and 1 gallon of xylene is 93.x octane. Generally xylene is around 114 octane, i think toluene is 112 or so. The supra and audi guys have been doing this for years. Also the ECU's are normally smart enough to advance timing when using high high octane gas. Just like it's smart enough to retard timing when using bad gas.
