Man, that is sweet!!! Congratulations. Gotta love the hatchback version. Nice pics, the buildings compliment the shots very well.

I'm sure it's gonna look a lot nicer with the summer 17" wheels! And I'm thinking about a sports grille too.
Special greetings to Steve![/b]
Congratulations!!!

And it sure looks a lot like mine!

We gotta get together on a meet sometimes! :)

I saw another one just like this a couple of weeks ago in Burträsk. Was that you?

Thx Guys! Sweet to hear your comments! We all know that the Mazda6 is a really nice car! :) But I think at least the silver one looks nicer in the evening. Unfortunately I havn't any good night pics of it. All pictures sucks, I guess it's because my camera sucks... Anyway, the car seems even nicer in real life, especially in the dark! :)

Xeno: The problems is that the full sports Kit is very expensive in Sweden... :-( But I'm considering a sports grille.

Well, I havn't been driving in Burträsk so it wasn't me! I don't even know where Burträsk is. Never heard of it! :) There was propably some other happy Mazda 6 owner! :) But seriously, shouldn't it be fun to have a Mazda6 meeting sometime in the future?

Nice car Outsider! It looks just like mine except for the rear spoiler (and the headlight washers). I didn't get a spoiler but I do have the sports grille. I can highly recommend it. I think it looks great on the Silver Contrail. Enjoy!

Those lazy sons of a bitches probably don't want all the logistic mumbo jumbo of importing that stuff.
It's probably also expensive just to ship stuff here (even if it was cheaper, the amount would still be fairly low. It's different in with Japan and USA - you have the factorys "at home".

Also, the wing is standard on all 2.3 cars here, and it gives it a sporty look, and does not cost that much to ship and stuff. They probaly think that we should be happy with what we get :).

Now that's a very nice car, Outsider. What are those tailpipes? It doesn't look like standard Mazda (don't they point down at least a bit?).

And you are pretty right about the 17" :) The car NEEDS 17" to look good. It's a pain to see all Swedish Mazda6's wintertime, no matter who nice a set of 15" rims really are, they still look booring.

And - what are thoes small things haning down on each side of the tail pipes? Looks like metal from the silencers, but in a "fin" (as in fena, not finländare :D) shape!

Nice, nice... I actually kinda like the rims too...yeah they're a little small but very decent looking iMO and better suited for the winter than 17" :)

I didn't mean that they where out of place - we are looking for some nice pipes and these look very nice!

Although after looking at some other pix those seem to be the real Mazda pipes. But how do they fit the bend in those!? Or are the original pipes cut off and these welded on?

I also think the rims are quite nice, but a bit small of course. But, as mentioned 15" are better suited for winter. I think the car is to stiff for winter roads, it makes more annoying sounds inside the car than the old 626... :-( That's something that makes me a bit disappointed. I have some annoying rattle somewhere around the speedo and rev gauges. I havn't been able to fix it...

Concerning the tailpipes, it's Mazdas own, but they are manufactured by Sebring Auspuffanlagen GmbH, a german company as you certainly noticed! :) And, Blackbird, there are no problems to mount them. At first I also thought that the original pipes had to be cut off. But luckily it's not necessary. It's just to put them in place and tighten them with a "insektsnyckel". :) I have to recommend them, the car looks much better! Talk with your local Mazda dealer, he can order them for you.

Of course I'll contact u if I'm in your neighborhood Steve! And I expect u to do the same! :)

Hahaha no, I wish it was. That is just a very nice pic of a silver RX-8 (changed my avatar; selfmade pic of the optional 17" alloy)

I still haven't got a car :( But.....after seeying the Mazda6 Sport and SportBreak more, my mom think it is a good looking car :)

(I'm still saving for a Mazda 323F (www.mazda-madness.tk -> Webmaser-page)
