Hello to all the Canada people on here.

Curious as to what there is to do in that area. Me and my girlfriend are going to be staying at the Radison(the one with Tony Roma's restaurant). we plan on spending sunday at Niagara Falls area. Monday and Tuesday we have no plans. Any suggestions?

I have never been, but she has. I checked the hotel online. mentioned an IMAX is nearby. anyone ever been? or know what might be playing? I would like to check that out, depending on what movies.

Stripclubs & Nightclubs. any suggestions? my girl likes both. we want to have alot of fun away from home.

thx for any info.

later

Niagara Falls, ON has lots of casinos, there's a wax museum as well. Just walk from the falls up Clifton Hill and you'll see all the bright lights. Lots of strip clubs too. You won't have to look hard or long to find one.

Not sure where the IMAX is. Haven't been there in quite some time.

But, I've always been bored with Niagara Falls. That's just me though. Toronto, however, is only 1.5 hours away and there's much more to do and see there.

The IMAX there sucks. The last time I went up they were only showing some high school film festival all week. If you go to the casinos don't bother with the Canada side (no smoking, no free drinks, EXPENCIVE). Take some good walking shoes and plan on getting a ride or walking to the falls and border (parking is non existent). The cave on the Canada side is way better than the U.S. Maid of the Mist boats are available on both sides. If you're looking to just see some cool stuff it's going to all be in Canada. The U.S. side near the border reminds me of the outskirts of Philadelphia. I never heard of popular clubs, bars, or strip clubs while I was out there, but it doesn't mean there are none. If you're going to buy a souvenir stop by a shop near the exit to the Maid of the Mist on the U.S. side. I picked up 5 medium sized fleece blankets for $10 a piece!

Let us know how it goes!

Strip clubs - my God, where to start....

The best, uh, "service" would be Private Eyes on Hwy. 55 in St. Catharines. It's a healthy ($30+) cab ride from the Falls.

Closer to you would be the Sundowner, Mints, Crystals, are all pretty good. Grab a taxi and ask him to take you to the nearest strip club, and you should be fine.

I haven't been clubbin' there in a while (pretty soon I'll qualify as the "creepy old guy" :-(. St. Paul Street in St. Catharines has a good collection of clubs.

Are you driving your '6 up? If so, I can suggest several good :drive: '6 routes aroud the area!

EDIT - BTW this weekend is our Thanksgiving (Monday is our day off). And also, you can only buy booze at the LCBO (Beer Store or Liqour Store), and wine at "some" grocery stores.
