Hi everybody,
Just bought a 2011 6i GT. I've been driving Town Cars for the past 10 years so this is a big change for me
I wanted something better on gas and more sporty. I drove a 2015 and liked it a lot, I was sold on the driving experience of the 6 right away. makes camry and accord feel like the boring appliances they are. I decided to drive this 2nd gen model to see how it compared and knew right away I wanted one in this body style. Interior room is great for a mid size car and I like the way it rides better than the newer one, its sporty but so comfortable to just cruise around in too.
Had the front crossmember rust addressed before purchased so now just working on getting my rear door speakers
working, both of them are not putting out any sound. Also trying to rustproof the back subframe/suspension as best as i can so I can keep it for a long time. I have the melting dash issue too not sure if Mazda will replace that or if I should try the repair kit. I read a lot of reviews for these cars and it seems like they are pretty reliable lots of them out there with 200K plus still going. Mine only has 77K so hopefully it has a lot of life left.
