Hello all, just picked up my Mazda 6 S yesterday it's got 84k on the clock. Are there any issues i should be looking for with a car that has this many miles on it. And I suspect that its previous owner may be on this site since I do see some basic mods done to it already.

Cats are a problem if I remember. I don't own a regular(very slow car, LOL) Mazda 6, but I have read a few things to look for. Look in the newbie section to increase your knowledge on a great car.

Are cats clogging (or whatever) a problem on the 2.3L or was this mainly the 3.0L?

Yeah that is one thing it has already been done to the car is Magnaflow exhaust and high flow cats. And I forgot to mention that it's a silver wagon...

no it really isnt a problem with the 2.3's. normally a problem with 3.0's=v6
